Before you decide

Will my gaming PC be able to stream at the same time?
Run OBS’s Auto-Configuration Wizard, then record while playing the game you want to stream. If the game stutters, the recording drops frames, or OBS shows encoder warnings, lower the game or stream settings and test again before buying more equipment.
Can I keep my wireless or USB headset?
Yes. Keep the headset connected as usual for game audio and select the Q2U as the microphone in OBS. Record a test to make sure the stream receives both.
Do I need a capture card to stream a PC game?
No. OBS can capture the game directly on your PC. A capture card is for bringing video from another device into that PC, such as a console's HDMI output.
